INSIDE IARC- DESTINY COMBS
Destiny has been with IARC since 2014 and we can’t imagine her not being with us! While it’s true, she loves crunching numbers and keeps the office in order, she is also caring and selfless and always finds a way to make us feel supported in whatever we need.
Have a coworker describe you.
Executive Assistant aka “Kate the Saint” had this to say about Destiny:
Destiny’s smile brightens up a room when she enters and you can feel the energy expand when she does. She welcomes any challenge, demonstrates extraordinary work habits and keeps calm under pressure. She makes a conscious effort to stay connected with everyone and is the glue that holds us together!
What is the best part about your job or why you love working for IARC?
Helping make families, of course! Family means the world to me so being a small part of another family’s story is amazing! I LOVE the variety of my day to day as it’s never the same and I’m always learning something new.
Share a fun fact about yourself.
I absolutely LOVE travelling. I was a flight attendant for over 4 years and any time I wasn’t working, I would be flying to somewhere new overseas. A few highlights – I’ve been to Oktoberfest in Munich twice and participated in the tomato flight at La Tomatina Festival in Valencia, Spain.
If you could visit anywhere in the world you’ve never been, where would you go?
South Africa – I’ve always wanted to do the cage diving with great white sharks!
Three things I would struggle to live without are……………………..
CANDY, beer/wine and my family.
When not in the office, you can find me…………….
Golfing, riding a motorcycle, spending time with my family, or having a drink on a patio in the summertime.
