INSIDE IARC- LAUREN SEGNER

Lauren is a Program Coordinator who joined the IARC team in 2021. She spent eleven years in the childcare field before coming to IARC. Having gone through her own journey of IVF, she is dedicated to helping other parents build their families and loves the connections she has with all of the parents and surrogates she works with.

Have a coworker describe you.

Lead Program Coordinator Morgane had this to say about Lauren:

Lauren is a joy to work with. It has been a real pleasure to see her grow at IARC this past year. She is absolutely thriving as a Program Coordinator. If you have the chance to have Lauren as your PC throughout your surrogacy journey, rest assured that you are in loving and caring hands! She is a key element of our team and never shies away from taking on new projects. Wouldn’t want to do any of it without her and her infectious laugh! Also, she’s always on the go and experiencing new adventures with her adorable family so she has the best tips on every kid-friendly outing!

What is the best part about your job or why you love working for IARC?

The best part of my job is getting to help build families. After going through my own infertility journey there was a part missing in my life of being able to help those achieve their dream of being parents. I love that I get to be a small steppingstone in their journey and help them along the way.

Share a fun fact about yourself.

I got to perform on the Grand Ole Opry stage and the Hard Rock Live stage in Orlando with my High School Show Choir.

If you could visit anywhere in the world you’ve never been, where would you go?

I would love to go to Australia, there has always been something intriguing about being able to see Kangaroos free roam.

Three things I would struggle to live without are……………………..

Family, Pizza, and reality TV shows 😊

When not in the office, you can find me…………….Spending time with my family, watching sports, or bowling. I come from bowling family, so we spend lots of time at the bowling alley. I also love creating memories with my family.

If you could do someone else’s job in IARC for a day, who would it be and why? I would love to do Whitney’s job. I would love to be able to meet all the intended parents that are coming through and be able to hear their stories. It would feel so special to help them get matched with their surrogate to be able to start their journey.
